Thanksgiving is one of our favorite holidays and such a great way to kick off the holiday season. We love that the frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday is preceded by a day for family gatherings and giving thanks. It’s also no coincidence that Giving Tuesday comes right after all that shopping…but the entire sequence of events is supposed to be about giving. Lots of people lose that focus in all the craziness. Today we just wanted to encourage you to keep in mind what it’s all about.

Several scientific studies have shown that the simple act of noting things we’re grateful for has a profound impact on our attitude. You can check out a great article about that HERE. The article is from 2010, but it’s still relevant today.

If we were to sit down for a Thanksgiving meal with our family of patients that would be one gigantic table. Since we can’t do that, we still want you to know we’ll be thinking of you when we’re giving thanks this year.
